Multi award winning advertising photographer Richard Bradbury has over 25 years of experience photographing people for advertising and editorial projects through-out the world. Richard has shot many covers from ‘Time’ magazine in New York to ‘Time Out’ in London and his ad campaigns include the likes of Sony Playstation, Virgin Airlines, Tesco, MnMs, Orange Mobile and virtually every UK high street bank.
4 years ago Richard branched out into a new field with the prospect of bringing editorial quality to everyday children’s portraiture. The Children Of London book, photographed by Richard, was born in 2010 and is now in its 4th year. Copies are retained yearly by Her Majesty the Queen amongst many other collectors. It has also raised nearly £25,000 for Great Ormond Street Hospital. During the two days Richard will share all the secrets for creating a successful children’s portrait business from nothing more than a good eye and an enthusiastic approach. In fact, if you have a DSLR Camera and a laptop you can make this business work from the day that you leave the seminar. You do not need a studio and can be shooting your first clients within a week of completing the course. This is a rewarding, creative business that can be your sole source of income or just another string to your bow as an established photographer.
The emphasis of the two days is on the tricks and techniques that Richard has developed during 3 years of photographing children for his iconic book. Using his unique G.L.O.W. technique, beautiful images of children from babies to teenagers are achievable by any photographer. There will also be a live, location shooting session with young models and Richard will be on hand to give real advise. In addition he will cover important modules on Pre and Post Production including practical sessions with Lightroom, Photoshop and Pro-Select. Marketing and selling your images are essential eliments to making your business a success. It is here where Richard’s 25 years of experience really come to the fore. He demonstrates marketing ideas that he garantees will get your phone ringing and sales techniques to make selling your images a profitable experience for both you and your client.
